Azusa Pacific’s Entry-Level Master’s in Nursing (ELM) program offers nursing education to those with bachelor’s-level or higher degrees in other disciplines. Students enroll in nursing theory and clinical courses, followed by a clinical residency, in preparation for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam. Students then select a nursing specialty and complete more graduate courses, after which the Master of Science in Nursing is awarded.
Prepare for advanced nursing practice
Graduates qualify for the California Registered Nurse License and Public Health Nursing Certificate, and may apply to the state of California to become certified as a clinical nurse specialist and/or nurse practitioner.
