Graduates of the Mild/Moderate Disabilities Education Specialist Credential program gain comprehensive preparation for teaching students with mild to moderate disabilities. Candidates develop a deep understanding of the diverse issues impacting students with special learning needs.
A special calling in education
To accommodate educators at different points in their careers, the program includes two tracks. The Non-Intern track is for candidates who are not already teaching full time in a K–12 school, while the Intern track is designed for those with current full-time teaching contracts.
