APU’s performance major prepares you for careers in performance or private teaching, or to pursue advanced degrees. Courses in theory, music history, literature, and conducting give you a thorough grasp of comprehensive musicianship. You’ll also participate in diverse musical experiences such as musical ensembles, recitals, and voice and piano classes. You’ll graduate with the artistic and practical skills to start a music career.
